8TH Annual Commencement Ceremony

2018 Wonderland Preschool Kindergarten Graduation and Pre Kindergarten Culmination at Julio's Pizza, Artesia CA

For the past 8 years Wonderland Preschool’s graduation has been hosted at a church. Due to new programs and services at the church we cannot continue to have our annual program there. The 2017-2018 Kindergarten Graduation and Pre Kindergarten Culmination will be hosted in the banquet hall at Julio’s Pizza. Caps, gowns, and tickets will only be sold at Wonderland.

Eligibility

  • No tuition or late outstanding balances before the event. Tuition will not be collected at the event.
  • Only open to current students enrolled at Wonderland.
  • Students enrolled after mid-school year may not participate in the event.
  • Kindergarten students must have at least 85% attendance and be in good classroom standing.

Get Ready for the Event

  • Ticket Prices: Families will receive 2 free tickets per enrolled child participating in the ceremony. Free tickets will only be given, by the office, to the parent or guardian that enrolled the child at the school. They will not be given to other family or friends. Additional tickets can be purchased from the office at $5.00 per ticket between 05/16/2018 to 06/13/2018 or $10.00 at the door (if available). Individuals 6 years and over will require a ticket for entry. Please ensure you bring your tickets for entry. No exceptions to entry will be provided if tickets are not presented at time of entry. The numbers of tickets are limited (due to hall size) and will be sold on a first come first serve basis.
  • Graduation will be held in the rear banquet hall of Julio’s Pizza.

  • Bring your tickets for entry and come early as parking is limited.
  • Caps & Gowns: Rooms 7 and 9 must come dressed in their caps and gown. Room 8 students will change into caps and gown at the venue. Caps and gowns sold will be sold for $35.00 each from the office. Girls will wear red and boys to wear blue. Dress children in cool comfortable clothes under the caps and gowns.

Graduation and Culmination Event

  • Commencement ceremony start times are available on the reverse side. The class’s event will start promptly during the designated times to ensure we return the hall on time. This year we will not be waiting for parents to arrive.
  • Scholastic Book Fair: Families will get a chance to browse through books and expand their library. Payments will be accepted in credit cards or cash.
  • Selfie Booth: $5.00 (2 printed pictures are included). Only cash payments are accepted.
  • Gift Basket: The school will be selling gifts as a fundraiser.
  • Original certificates, diplomas, and report cards will be provided at the event. The school does not keep duplicates.

Room 7 – Ms. Annie and Ms. Monique

  • 9:30 AM – Arrive and drop the child off with their teacher
  • 10:00 AM – Assemble with class teacher and walk into the banquet hall
  • 10:15 AM – Teacher speeches
  • 10:30 AM – Student performance
  • 10:50 AM – Student awarded certificates
  • 11:00 AM – Families to exit the banquet hall so we can begin the next class. Please take pictures with the teacher and other staff outside the banquet hall.

Room 8 – Ms. Juliet and Ms. Priscilla’s Class

  • 10:30 AM – Arrive and drop the child off with their teacher
  • 11:00 AM – Assemble with class teacher and walk into the banquet hall
  • 11:15 AM – Teacher speech
  • 11:30 AM – Student performance
  • 11:50 AM – Student awarded certificates
  • 12:00 PM – Families to exit the banquet hall so we can begin the next class. Please take pictures with the teacher and other staff outside the banquet hall.

Room 9 – Ms. Nicole’s Class

  • 11:30 AM – Arrive and drop the child off with their teacher
  • 12:00 PM – Assemble with class teacher and walk into the banquet hall
  • 12:15 PM – Teacher speech
  • 12:20 PM – Student performance
  • 12:40 PM – Student awarded certificates
  • 12:50 PM – Families to exit the banquet hall.
